Bappi Lahiri honored by World Book Of Records


From “Disco Dancer” To “Uh Lala”, since last 44 years, Bappi Lahiri creating the fabulous song for the music lover, has taken another achievement.  The United Kingdom-based World Book of Records honored Bappi Da for contribution to Indian cinema.

The Bappi Lahiri is famous for the join of synthesized disco music with the Indian flavor. He had honored for the working in 33 movies in one year by the “Gunnies Book of World Record”. The Bappi Lahiri is one of the musicians those honored by “China Award”, he got the award for the song of “Jimmy Jimmy”.

The Bappi Lahiri composed not only Hindi music but also bangle, Malayalam, Panjabi, Telugu, Kannada and Udhisa music. He started his career as music director at the age of 20. On this year he had got awarded for lifetime achievement award at 63the film fare award.

Bappi Lahiri is also known as “Bappi Daa”, he played the guest appearance in many movies. In 1974, he played the role of Bapu Jipsian in the Kishor Kumar's movie that name is “Badhti Ka Naam Dadhii”.
